DESCRIPTION:As part of Care Compass Network’s SAMHSA Mental Health Awareness Training Grant (MHAT) Suicide Prevention & Training Program for Students & their Community Network of Safety (SAPTP), we are excited to sponsor the Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) training. The QPR Institute’s mission is to save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors by providing innovative, practical, and proven suicide prevention training. The 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.\nIn this 2-hour training attendees will learn:\n\nHow to Question, Persuade, and Refer someone who may be suicidal\nHow to get help for yourself or learn more about preventing suicide\nThe common causes of suicidal behavior\nThe warning signs of suicide\nHow to get help for someone in a crisis\n\n \nThis training will be taking place in person only.\n
