Provider Office Engagement Survey Results

In October 2015 Care Compass Network conducted a survey to better understand the panel members’ communication preferences with their providers’ offices and in social media.

Key Findings:

  • The most effective way to share information with the community is to have the nurse or provider share the information during the appointment. The least effective way to share information was to provide a brochure or handout in the waiting room area.
  • Approximately one-fourth of the respondents said they are likely to seek out healthcare services in the area using social media, and those most likely to use social media listed Facebook as their likely choice of social media platforms.
  • Respondents noted that television advertisements, showing a video in a provider’s waiting room, providing information online, or having providers talk with patients directly are effective ways to increase awareness.
